About Jessica

I am a mother of two young children, wife, and business owner. I love running my own business and working with other entrepreneurs. There is an optomistic and creative spirit within every entrepreneur I have ever worked with and it is this spirit that keeps me excited about my work. I especially love helping others to acheive their dreams by taking the stress out of the business end of their companies so they can do the work they, in turn, love.

After 7 years as Controller and HR Director at DwellStudio, a successful NYC design firm, I moved with my family to Mill Valley to be closer to grandparents, trees, ocean and fantastic public schools. Wanting a different life, I decided to strike out on my own by forming JM Bookkeeping, now SoMar Financial. This allows me to spend more time with my kids, while being able to walk to my office and to clients. It's a great life!
